Each flight lesson is close to 1 hour and accompanied with a pre-flight theory briefing.

1.  Basic Flight Training
  1. Flight Lesson #1 - Operation and effects of controls
  2. Flight Lesson #2 - Straight and level flight
  3. Flight Lesson #3 - Climbing and descending
  4. Flight Lesson #4 - Turning
  5. Flight Lesson #5 - Stalling
  6. Flight Lesson #6 - Consolidation and circuit introduction
  7. THEORY EXAM - Pre-solo Air Legislation exam
  8. THEORY EXAM - Radio exam

2.  Basic Circuit Training
  1. Circuit flight lessons (competency based)


3.  Circuit Considerations Training
  1. Circuit flight lessons with abnormal circuit situations (competency based) - glide approaches, flapless approaches, rejected take-offs and go-arounds
  2. First circuit solo
  3. THEORY EXAM - Air Legislation exam


4.  Basic Advanced Training
  1. Flight Lesson #7 - Forced Landings
  2. Flight Lesson #8 - Crosswind Circuits
  3. Flight Lesson #9 - Steep Turns
  4. First area solo
  5. THEORY EXAM - Basic Aeronautical Knowledge (BAK) exam


5.  Specific Advanced Training

    1. Flight Lesson #10 - Short field take-off and landing
    2. Flight Lesson #11 - Precautionary search and landing
    3. Flight Lesson #12 - Sideslipping



      6.  Assessment for Pilot Certificate

      1. Review and revision on all previous topics with additional training and/or solo consolidation if required
      2. THEORY EXAM - Human Factors exam



      7.  RA-Aus Pilot Certificate Flight Test
      1. ORAL EXAM - privileges and limitations of the Pilot Certificate
      2. FLIGHT TEST - Pilot Certificate

       
      8.  RA-Aus Cross Country Endorsement
      1. 8 hours min. dual cross country flight time
      2. THEORY EXAM - Navigation & Meteorology
      3. 2 hours min. solo cross country flight
      4. FLIGHT TEST - Cross Country

       
      9.  RA-Aus Passenger Carriage Endorsement
      1. Require 10 hours min. Pilot In Command (PIC) flight time
      2. FLIGHT TEST - Passenger Carriage
      3. Before begin conversion to PPL, obtain CASA Student Pilot Licence (SPL)
      4. Before begin conversion to PPL, obtain Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)


      10.  Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
      1. Need 40 hours total flight time which includes - 5hrs PIC, 5hrs cross country PIC and 2hrs instrument flight time
      2. THEORY EXAM - CASA PPL exam
      3. FLIGHT TEST - Private Pilot (3 hours)
